You can connect directly with Global Freshman Program Students. You can access a pool of committed global students as well as their academic records. Students who all have validated ACE credit points first-year undergraduate course records. NOT pathways, NOT foundation courses but first-year course units. Directly contact students and their parents, open discussions, make offers, and execute recruitment plans around your cohort diversity objectives.
Currently, we offer GFP streams in Business, Computing and General Education.
An alternative and complementary channel for full fee-paying international students – with no Education Agent
The GFP is a solution tailored for recent high school graduates who genuinely aspire to the completion of an on-campus international university undergraduate degree but need a bit extra time.
These are students (and families) in source markets, where the student may need additional support or time before commencing their international study experience:
- Time to improve financial capacity or to have the international study effectively reduced in cost
- Time to further develop and improve their English language to support admission or visa requirements
- Time to prepare emotionally for the move from home to an international study experience
- Perhaps seeking a destination that is more visa-friendly than other established markets
The GFP Student Journey
STEP 1
Student applies to GFP
Minimum high school leaving (or equivalent) and English language at IELTS 5.5 or equivalent
STEP 2
Application Assessed
GFP team reviews academics, English credentials and identity documents
STEP 3
GFP Offer Made and Fees Paid
STEP 4
Student Commences in a GFP Study Centre
GFP provides monthly rolling intakes in local in-country Study Centres. All students study the same course in a block mode delivery schedule.
STEP 5
Student ongoing GFP studies
Completes 10 x 3 credit point (ACE assessed/recommended) courses
5 x Core and 5 x Stream
STEP 6
Student completes GFP study
Student selects their specialisation stream:
